Q: How can I book a room?

Call our office and make an enquiry on-line and we will contact you shortly. If you book early, you will have more options to choose from. During July- August period rooms are getting booked quickly, we encourage you to book early. We will do our best to find a room according to your preferences.

Q: Can we book as a group?

You can reserve an apartment for you and your friends based on our room availability. You can also book a few rooms in the same flat. To do this, please inform us when u place your enquiry and we will do our best to satisfy your request.

Q: Can I switch rooms after booking?

If you request a different room before you move in, it is possible (subject to room availability). After moving in you will have to pay an administration fee to make any changes.

Q: How can I pay my rent?

Most our halls accept payments by 2-3 instalments without a UK guarantor if you book with Student Lettings. Rent can be paid in 1 instalment in August-September or in 2-3 instalments in August, January and April. Your payment dates will be specified in your accommodation contract as it may vary depending on your chosen Hall of Residence.

Q: Does the rent cover all bills?

The rent includes all normal electricity, heating and water costs, contents insurance and internet costs. The only extra costs you will have to pay are a TV licence fee and laundry services. There might be some additional services such as room cleaning offered at your specific accommodation site. Please ask us for details.

Q: When will I get my deposit back?

Most our hall will return your deposit back within 3-28 days following the end of your contract. Any damages will be deducted from your deposit. It is your responsibility to return your room in the same condition as you moved in.

Q: Can I get Internet?

Internet is included in your rent or charges.

Q: Can I have friends to stay over?

You may have occasional overnight guests. Please do not have someone staying for more than 2-3 consecutive nights and always talk with your flatmates first.

Q: Can I move in early?

We always try to accommodate requests for early arrivals when possible. Please check with us the availability of your chosen hall of residence.

Q: Can I move out before my tenancy ends?

You can leave your accommodation if you pay an administration/penalty fee and find another suitable student who will take over your tenancy agreement. If you don’t have a replacement for your room, you cannot terminate the contract before your tenancy agreement ends. You will be liable to pay rent as stated in your contract.

Q: Will my room be cleaned?

Your accommodation is cleaned for your arrival. Once you have moved in you will be responsible for cleaning your room and any shared areas within the apartment. Some sites offer cleaning services at additional cost.

Q: What laundry facilities are there in the building?

There is a laundry room with a suitable number of coin operated washers and dryers.

Q: Is there always a member of staff on-site?

All of our residences are staffed 24-hours a day, 7 days a week with trained security staff. In addition, we have remote CCTV in operation with a remote security back up.

Q: What about safety?

There is 24-hour security, CCTV, electronic access control with guards on duty in the majority of residences (check details of the residence of your choice). Access to the property is strictly limited to residents, their authorised visitors, hall staff and nominated contractors. Fire alarms are tested weekly, appropriate emergency signage is displayed and fire evacuation drills undertaken at the start of each academic year.
